The staff at Purple Cow Communications are all specialists in their respective fields. All of these individuals have extensive Internet Marketing experience and have undergone formal and in-job training in their various areas of online Marketing expertise. So without further ado, meet our team:

LEON LATEGAN - CHIEF BULL
Having been involved in Internet Businesses since 1997, Leon Lategan is an online Marketing heavyweight. He honed his Internet Marketing skills and worked as the Marketing and Sales Director - and subsequently as MD - for a major South African Internet news portal for the past six years.

SHIREEN SOLOMON - GENERAL MANAGER
She's extremely passionate about Online Advertising and enjoys educating prospective clients as she believes that the Internet market is growing at a phenomenal rate, which opens up massive opportunities for advertisers to reach an online audience.

TIFFANY BYERS - CAMPAIGN MANAGER
Tiffany entered into the advertising world in 1996 as a media buyer. After 3 years of traditional advertising experience and a Red & Yellow School of Advertising Degree, she moved into the online arena and hasn’t looked back.

SADIQAH LEVY - SENIOR MEDIA BUYER & PLANNER
Sadiqah is Purple Cow’s undisputed logistics all-rounder. She fulfils an array of functions with her signature no-nonsense attitude, and is responsible for everything from event management and planning to client liaison and sales campaign coordination.

KASHIFA GILBERT - OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
As Office Administrator, Kashifa keeps everything running smoothly in the Purple Cow Communications offices. She is the warm professional voice manning our switchboard, and the cold voice ordering e-mail back-ups at 14:00 precisely on Fridays. Everyone loves her. No one messes with her.

EUGENE VISSER - HEAD OF SEARCH
Eugene joined Purple Cow with some serious theoretical online credentials, courtesy of CPUT, where he completed his Masters in online studies. Smooth, intelligent, and a natural people's person, he intuitively knows how to listen, leading clients towards successful outcomes.

KAREN VISSER - SENIOR SEARCH ANALYST
Starting her SEO career five years ago as an in-house SEO for a travel company, her passion for the Search industry keeps her on top of today’s online trends and optimization techniques. Karen is the ultimate holistic visionary, giving her the ability to process the idealistic into creative realities.

YUMNA GALVAAN - MEDIA PLANNER
Yumna is a wonderfully charismatic people person who brings magic to all she touches at Purple Cow – clients, colleagues and even her desk can’t escape her colourful personal style - not that we’d want to! Delightful to deal with, this energizer bunny is on the ball!

MATTHEW GREEN - SEO COPYWRITER
After many years avoiding adulthood (some of which was spent living in London), Matthew realised that it was time to settle down into a career. Combining his passion for media with his skill for writing compelling copy, he put his Honours Degree in Film Studies to good use by joining the elite herd at Purple Cow, as an SEO copywriter.

TARE MAKUYANA - SEARCH ANALYST
Impeccably groomed, well-organised and creative are just some of the words one could use to describe PPC Analyst and multimedia designer Tare. He has accumulated experience in Pay Per Click advertising since discovering it a year ago and continues to broaden his horizons in the Purple Cow herd!

FARAI MUTERO - SEARCH ANALYST
An inquisitive and thoughtful SEO strategist who has a proven track record in driving the natural search strategy in fast paced and testing competitive markets. Farai’s solid experience in software engineering and organic search strengthens Purple Cow’s dynamism and energy.

Dylan Brent - SEARCH ANALYST
Dylan's passion and natural talent for Search Engine Marketing has helped him to surpass expectations during his 3 years of online marketing experience. He joins the Purple Cow herd with enthusiasm and fresh ideas, proving to be a valuable member of the team.

MEGAN LATEGAN - MEDIA PLANNER
After completing her degree in Marketing and Business Administration in Pretoria, Megan left behind the Blue Bulls and trekked south to join the Purple Cows as a media planner. Megan’s attention to detail and quirky observations of the world around her make her a perfect team member in this competitive and creative industry.

Jan Pretorious - HEAD CREATIVE
In 2001 Jan decided to step into the exciting world of Web Design and Development, and has never looked back since. He has a passion for both design and development, and is always on the lookout for new technologies. Being different is what it's all about for Jan, and doing things like everyone else just won't do.

Leilah van der Schyff - SEO COPYWRITER
Leilah got bitten by the digital bug after researching Online Media for a college assignment.
